The sky also was in drizzling tears. “Where shall I go, without you?” Raman could not control his trickling tears. The whole village wept with him at this sad incident that occurred to their beloved young Kuttan who had been their playing companion as well as their sign of luck for more than eight years.
In bereavement of his beloved little elephant Kuttan, the mahout Raman became shocked and sleepless. They were together, day and night, for more than eight years.
