Why Does the Mother Earth Shake Often Nowadays?

Earthquakes occur often nowadays. No place on the earth can be sure that it will not happen there. It has become the threatening panic of modern life.

Recently a strong earthquake in Virginia, said to be the strongest in the history of the state, rattled millions in the eastern side of the US. Hundreds of aftershocks have been felt by a lot of people from Georgia to northern New England. It had been a new experience for many who were thinking that an earthquake will never visit their area. For the Americans who had a belief that earthquake in the US is a problem only in the west were greatly surprised when it affected the country in the east. The magnitude 5.8 earthquake that struck Virginia on Tuesday has given new meaning and timely warnings about earthquakes which may occur anywhere at any time.
