A Child’s Prayer Was Heard

Emily is a little girl. She has no body to love her. She is lonely. She prays God to make people love her.

“Am I also an unwanted orange, like those fallen on the ground…?” Emily asked herself, staring at the oranges scattered on the ground under the tree.

She was walking home from the school through the lonely streets where her classmates Rachelle and Roby lived. She knew that they won’t accompany her. Nobody ever accompanied her. She was all alone.
