The United Nations Organization (UNO) has asked the world nations to celebrate the International Day of Older Persons on October one each year as a special day for older persons. 2011 is the twentieth year of such celebrations. it is high time to think of the part of the older people in society.
As per the directions of The United Nations Organization(UNO) World Elders Day is observed on 1st October of every year. The demographic statistics state a pitiable picture about the elders in their evening of life.
