Semantic Dementia Treatments

Modern days experience many new diseases due to changes in lifestyles and pollution in the environment. More and more brain complications are exposed. Aging, changes in social structures, isolation and depression are causing more and more brain problems like dementia.

Semantic dementia is a brain disease which is also called dementia, fluent progressive aphasia, frontotemporal dementia, pick’s disease, and Arnold pick’s disease. It is a disease of the brain associated with shrinking of the frontal and temporal anterior lobes of the brain which causes personality changes, decline in functions, poor inability to judge properly, and disorientation that may precede memory loss in due course of time. It is closely related to Alzheimer’s disease, which has become the major challenge faced in the new millennium. Unfortunately neither the public nor the governments have fully understood the wider implications of this mind-crippling disease. Ignorance and stigma are the main causes for its lack of understanding.
