Emotion Can Live Longer Than Memory

Emotions play a stronger role in memory. It is clear that emotion affects what is noticed and encoded. An emotional content affects memory. This may be because memory has something to do with different emotions being involved with different brain regions.

Memory is closely connected with emotions. You can remember emotionally charged events better than boring ones. Emotions play an important role in retaining in memory.
